He has earned numerous awards including the Hirschl Career Scientist award, American Medical Association Award for Outstanding Presentation at the national meeting, March of Dimes Award for Outstanding Leadership in the Fight Against Birth Defects, Berson Award in Clinical Science of the NYU School of Medicine, Distinguished Alumnus Award for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the NYU School of Medicine, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Award for Outstanding Achievement, among others. In 1995 he was appointed Silverman Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York University School of Medicine. He has published 110 scientific articles, 14 invited book chapters, two books on Perinatal Medicine, and two books for the public domain, "Miscarriage, Medicine, and Miracles" and "The Intellectual Devotional: Health."

Dr. Bruce Young

Dr. Young is internationally known as a leader and innovator in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Recently appointed the Director of the NYU Langone Medical Center's Pregnancy Loss Prevention Center, Dr. Young has been named in New York Magazine's Best Doctors, Castle Connolly Medical Limited's America's Top Doctors, New York's Top Minimally Invasive Surgeons, the Marquis Who's Who in Healthcare, the New York Times Magazine's Super Doctors, and is a US News and World Report Top Doctor.  Dr. Young's interest in maternal and fetal medicine led to his performing NYU's first intrauterine fetal blood transfusion and first fetal surgery. He has remained an innovator in this area, developing endoscopic fetal procedures and achieved world recognition for fetal membrane repair surgery.
